Cost: $25.00 per copy

NMHR conducted the 2004-2005 Healthcare Professional Salary Compensation Survey in December 2005.

As in the past, data in this report represents information collected on salary and benefit information for approximately 1,500 healthcare providers and administrators providing primary and rural healthcare in New Mexico. This survey is the ninth annual performed by NMHR. Forty surveys were mailed to selected rural healthcare systems throughout New Mexico.

Included in the body of this report are salary, benefit and other compensation data on healthcare professionals in rural and urban sites in New Mexico. Data are presented by healthcare profession, geographic region of the state and national comparisons. Data have been standardized to full-time equivalency (FTE). Annual wage rates were adjusted to 2,080 working hours. Comparisons are made between what respondents expected to reimburse healthcare professionals and actual median, mean and modal wages paid in calendar year 2005.

Data are presented on the following healthcare professionals: Accounting and Billing personnel, Administrators, Case Managers, Dental Assistants, Dental Hygienists, Dentists, Front Office personnel, Health Educators, Laboratory, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Medical Assistants (including aides and technologists), Nurse Practitioners, Nutritionists, Occupational Therapists, Pharmacists, Physical Therapists, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Radiology Technicians, Registered Nurses, Speech Language Therapists, and Social Workers.
