DESCRIPTION:Objectives: \n\nUnderstand the evidence and latest clinical guidelines for sealant placement in children\nLearn the latest HRSA/NHANES data on dental sealant placement prevalence\nDescribe clinical strategies for placing more sealants\n\n  \nPresenter: IRENE HILTON\, DDS \nIrene Hilton\, DDS\, MPH\, is the dental consultant for the National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) and is also a clinical staff dentist at the San Francisco Department of Public Health. She is board certified in Dental Public Health and has dual faculty at the University of California San Francisco\, School of Medicine and School of Dentistry. Dr. Hilton has been actively involved in the development of NNOHA’s training and technical assistance resources for health centers to improve on the HRSA UDS Sealants Measure. She just completed a two-year term as chair of the sealant workgroup for the ADA’s\, Council on Advocacy for Access and Prevention. \n  \n
