Skin Cancer Exams, Treatments, and Prevention in this New Era

Goals and Objectives:

At the completion of this session the participant will be able to…

  1. Perform a screening skin examination to detect cancerous and precancerous skin lesion
  2. Make recommendations to reduce the likelihood of additional cancerous and precancerous skin lesions
  3. Choose at least 2 appropriate treatments for precancerous skin lesions
  4. Be aware of the benefits and limits of teledermatology

Presenter: Dr. Daniel Stulberg, M.D.

Daniel Stulberg trained in Family Medicine at the University of Michigan.  He practiced in rural Arizona for 8 years before working as a full time residency faculty.  Dr. Stulberg is currently a Professor and the Vice Chair of Education in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of New Mexico. His practice focuses on skin, musculoskeletal and procedural care in family medicine.
